The work they are doing is inspiring, and the knowledge they are willing to share is invaluable.
The farm tour will forever be one of our travel highlights.
The food is next level.
Also .... there is hot water in the shower! The room is basic and yes there are bugs and frogs, but you are in rural Fiji! The bed is perfect to rest your head and a beautiful deck to soak in the views.

I have thought so much about this review. And here it goes. The Teitei Family has to be one of the best places to experience the real fijian history... read more and way of life. They are full of knowledge about everything.
Ashmita is the main cook. She makes the best eggs my husband and I have ever had in our life! Seriously!
The Teitei Family's little one is probably the best mannered 7 year old we have met as well. He is a great chef as well! Ask him about his bug collection. He is such a smart and interesting person. There is never a dull moment on the farm.
Ask to be involved! We asked and we received. Getting involved with the village has been such a highlight of our visit. Getting to know how they live off the land and just the day to day life is so interesting and makes you feel like its your home as well.
Everything is so relaxing, you can hang out in your room if you want. You can walk the farm and have Jr. Tell you all about the trees, plants, and animals they have. I highly recommend doing this. There is no air conditioning but you dont care since everyone is always so happy! Everything is sparkling clean, simple, and just the way you want to experience and immerse yourself.
I recommend this homestead a million trillion times over. You will have the best time getting to know great people and wonderful land. Please vist and experience real Fiji you will not regret it!

This stay was so much more than I expected. The description is accurate. This is a farm on a tropical island. So expect to see chickens, roosters, frogs and lizards.... read more The accommodations are private and comfortable. But what made this stay so memorable for me was the hospitality. The food was beyond scrumptious and plentiful. Kim made sure to cater to all my needs. Her cook Ashmita belongs in a 5 star restaurant.
But beyond my stay I wanted to experience true Fiji culture. And Kim made sure I did. From participating in the farm family’s own traditions, Kim also brought me to an Indian family to participate in a Hindu Ramayana celebration. And she threw in a trip to the beach too.
If you want to really experience Fiji and all the friendliness and hospitality that comes with it, than this is the place to be. If you require posh hotels and all inclusives...then this is not the place for you. But why come all the way to Fiji to do that anyway?
